And he’s my grandson! That’s right, boys and girls, that adorable little 4 year old over there on the left is my perfectly perfect grandson. Now, try not to be too jealous, although I know it will be difficult. I got this picture yesterday while visiting him for Halloween. Oh man, he is SUCH a little character! I never stop laughing when I’m with him. He’s as ornery as they come, enormously funny, and very loving with lots of hugs and kisses for grandma. The little ham just LOVES to have his picture taken. LOL He sure seems to be good at it, too, huh! Gives a whole new meaning to the term “poser”. And lookie! Here’s three more!

My daughter and her best friends Tesla and Zach went out of town today to have a little fun and decided to take some pictures with their phones. She sent them to me and I, of course, was immediately compelled to share them with you. It’s a mother’s right to brag, after all.

Last month we went to the playground with my son, Ryan, and Brayden. They live thirty minutes from us, so we made an afternoon of it and had a picnic. It was SO much fun! Here are a few of the pictures I took that day. Hope you enjoy them.

Remember the other day when I was telling you guys about my cool daughter and her cool friend, Zach? Well, I just so happen to have this picture of them together, which I had to beg my daughter to let me post because she thinks it’s a bad angle since they were taking it themselves, but I finally talked her into it. (yay me!) Don’t they look like they just have so much fun together? I can’t help but break out into a big fat smile every time I look at this. Hope it makes you smile, too.

P.S. Because I just saw the headline for today’s edition of The New York Times, and because I want to be perfectly clear, I must reiterate yet AGAIN how much I despise Bush and everything he has done to this country, and can hardly wait until he is out of office! That goes for most of his administration, too. Thank God we get a new president soon — and it better not be McCain! (or as I like to call him, Bush Jr.)

Tomorrow (Tuesday) our perfectly perfect 3 year old grandson is having surgery at Children’s Hospital in Denver. It’s a rather simple hernia operation, but it becomes not-so-simple when you’re operating on a child with Hemophilia. He will be required to spend the night in the hospital, and will then be discharged the next day to the care of his parents after examination and hefty doses of his clotting factor, but must remain in Denver until Thursday. The hospital is putting them all up in a hotel, which is just so nice. He must be examined each day for infection and internal bleeding, and must receive mega doses of factor. If all is well by Thursday, which I am believing with all my heart will be the case, they can take him home.

We will be going to Denver tomorrow for the surgery, but will return home tomorrow night. I would sure appreciate all of the positive energy, thoughts and prayers you can muster. And thank you!
