OK, so most of you know that I have 6 dogs and love them with all my heart, right? I feed them every day, love them every day, play with them every day, give them fresh water every day, and they love …. my husband best!
I don’t get it, I really don’t. I think maybe it’s because he gives them food when he’s eating. My daughter and I never do that. You should see them all gather around him when he’s eating, too! It’s hysterical! Regardless of the reason, they love daddy completely. They practically fawn all over him! LOL
But anyway, the two little ones (Riley and Pippin) LOVE to sleep on/with him when he’s napping in his chair, which is what they’re doing right now. He worked outside for while today after he got in from his trip, then came in when he started getting tired (he’d been up all night running the train back here from Alliance, Nebraska), sat down in his chair and promptly fell asleep. Well of course the little ones followed suit very shortly. Miss Pippin worked herself into such a cute position that I just had to take pictures. Are they cute or what!

Pipin is the white one, right? The way she is sleeping is hilarious! And they love you too! Maybe he’s just more comfortable to sleep on. lol

Corrina — yep, she’s the one with a lot of white on her, especially there on her tummy. Oh I know they love me, too; they show me every day. It’s just that when he’s home, I kind of become invisible — until it’s time to eat, that is. Then they come running to me. They take me so for granted. I really should go on strike.

Cynthia, I think that’s why the migrate to Hubby as soon as he walks in the door — he spoils them more than I do!
I spoil them, too, but I also have to train/discipline. He just spoils. It’s not fair!
LOL

The funny thing with dogs is, that sometimes they just tend to take preference with one or the other sex. Some dogs always love the male, and the others love the female. I happen to be in the lucky position of owning a field spaniel, a breed known to love the “mother of the household” or at least the leading female. I learned this the hard way, my first fieldie completely ignored the papers saying he belonged to me and followed my mother everywhere. :p
