Have any of you ladies joined Curves? We have one here in my town, and my daughter and I are thinking of becoming members. I like the fact that it’s for women only, and they don’t have those gigantic windows that everyone and his brother can look through and see you working out! I think I’ll call and get the specifics on prices and stuff. I wonder if they have something like a family plan? Anyway, if any of you have been or are currently a member of Curves, can you please give me your opinion?
Thanks!

About The Author
Hi there, and welcome to Thoughtprints. My name is Leigh (well, actually that's my middle name) and I am a Colorado native, born and raised. I began Thoughtprints almost 6 years ago when I needed an outlet, and this blog became exactly that for me. This is where I vent my frustrations, share my feelings and talk about everything from current events around the world to the things my dogs do to make me laugh. I truly hope you enjoy your time here.
I used to belong (many moons ago) to a club called Golden Venus that was Women only. It was fun but I got a bit freaked out by the girls going into the sauna, jacuzzi, and pool nude. Sometimes we just don’t need to see that!
But, like I said that was many moons ago, like 20 years? :\
Check it out, all of it, before you join.

I got an error screen, btw… no white page, an error screen.

My neighbour went for a little while and loved it! She’s not a real motivated person(when it comes to exercise) so, unfortunately after a few weeks she stopped going. But, she did tell me that it was a fun place to work-out.
Good luck, Leigh! Hope Curves is just what you’re looking for.

I went for several months, the workers were not really interested in your progress, and the majority of the women were a tad bit snobby.(no conversation) no matter what I said…it may be different where you are. Just try it out and see. The work out is a good one.

Never been myself, but my step-mom swears by it. One perk is that you can use other Curves when you travel by just getting a visitor pass before you go.
