Steroids? Or Just Plain Evil!
I’m sure by now most of you have heard the horrible story about Chris Benoit, the 22-year pro-wrestling veteran who was found dead with his wife and young son on Monday, right? One of the “theories” emerging in this despicable event is that he did this because of anabolic steroids. Now, please correct me if I’m wrong, because admittedly I know very little about “roid-rage”, but doesn’t it usually mean that someone using steroids does something heinously violent out of the blue? Like they snap or something? This guy strangled his wife on Friday night after first tying her up, smothered his precious little boy sometime Saturday morning, then didn’t get the guts to kill himself until sometime Saturday night! That sure as hell doesn’t sound like roid-rage to me! It sounds like something he planned out. Rage doesn’t last that long; a plan does.
The reason I’m upset about this is because I don’t want the media and everyone else giving this man an “out”; an excuse for what he did. They found steroids in his house — so what. He was tested in April and was clean. Again, correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t roid-rage happen after prolonged use? Two months ago he was clean! Well, I don’t care what they come up with as to why he did this — the point is that he did it. And I hope he burns in hell for it.

I couldn’t agree more!!
