Baby Stars

Do you watch Grey’s Anatomy? You probably do, huh. Well, I don’t. I know, I know, it’s a knock-one-outta-the-ballpark kinda’ show, but I have others I’m watching and/or TiVo’ing at that same time. ANYway, the reason I’m asking is because if you were watching last night, you saw a little baby in a couple of the scenes, right? I think they were rather quick appearances, but they were there. Well guess what? The baby was played by twin boys named Rowan and Graham Richards, who happen to be the 3 month old grandsons of Sterling resident, Buzz Richards! (In case you don’t know, I live in Sterling) Is that cool or what! According to the story in the newspaper, Grandpa Buzz said:

Baby Graham will be carried right in front of the camera at the show’s fictional Seattle Grace Hospital during the opening and little Rowan can be seen in a crib later in the show.

It is interesting that the babies were chosen for a hospital-set drama, he said, because they spent so much of the first part of their lives in a real hospital. He said that his daughter-in-law spent 16 weeks in the hospital prior to their birth, and the prematurely born Rowan and Graham were there for their first four weeks.

Now if that isn’t somethin’! Wanna see a picture?

“Grey’s Anatomy” stars Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight hold the twin grandsons of Buzz Richards of Sterling after a taping of the hit show near Los Angeles, in which the 3-month-old babies will make a cameo. Heigl holds baby Rowan Fairbanks Richards, and Knight holds baby Graham Cusick Richards.

Sweet!
