A Brother For Nevaeh

Well! I changed designs yet AGAIN! And I did so for two reasons - I found this gorgeous design over at The Style Contest and absolutely loved it, AND because my mood has lightened somewhat. Why has my mood lightened somewhat, you ask? Because we have a new baby in the family!! My niece gave birth to a son last night (the 18th), weighing in at a tiny 5 lbs., 9 oz., and measuring 17 1/2 inches in length. He was born 3 weeks early, so that’s why he’s so small. But he’s HEALTHY, and scored a whopping 9.9 on his Apgar (acronym for: Activity, Pulse, Grimace, Appearance, and Respiration). So YAY! His name is Josiah James, and from what my sister tells me, he has very little hair. LOL Just like his sister, Nevaeh, when she was born! I can hardly wait to see him!

A new life begins!

I began Thoughtprints almost 6 years ago when I needed an outlet, and this blog became exactly that for me. I truly hope you enjoy your time here.

  4. Congrats on the new little one, aren’t babies just precious? You know I had to chuckle a wee bit when I read “weighing in at a tiny 5 lbs., 9 oz.”, because I wasn’t an preemie but I only weighed 5 lbs., 7 oz. when I was born.

Love you Leigh… have a great upcoming week! xoxoxox
