Remember Me???
Well … I know it’s been a while. I just … haven’t had much I felt I should share. Don’t get me wrong - a lot has been going on, most of it internally; things I don’t feel comfortable in making public. Suffice it to say that things have been tough all the way around, so I have curled up inside myself to wait for healing. Too many hurtful things happening of late.
Of course, the one happy constant in my life is my daughter and my dogs. They can ALWAYS make me smile and laugh. I have found pleasure in discussing Daisy with the kind people from some Golden Retriever forums. I suppose those of you who are not dog lovers or, more broadly, animal lovers, will not understand how much my dogs mean to me. Unconditional love, all the time, no matter what. The other day I began to cry, and before I knew it, Cheyenne, Lily, and Daisy were all on top of me showering me with wet puppy kisses, complete with worried looks upon their faces. They were doing everything they could to make sure I was okay. It was absolutely precious. They didn’t leave me until they knew I was alright. My sweet little friends.
It was then that I decided since I was deriving pleasure from discussing Daisy with the Golden Retriever people, I would also like to discuss all of my furry babies, so I made a place of my own called Canine Crazy!. If you wanna join me in discussing your favorite canine companion, go on over and sign up! Even if you don’t have a dog right now but love canines, I would still love to visit with you.
It has been VERY hot here over the last 2 to 3 weeks. We’re talking temps like 105 degrees!! (40 celcius) Needless to say, we spend our days indoors with the AC and only venture out at night. The dogs, too. Poor babies get SO hot out there! Of course my floors are constantly carpeted in a thin layer of dog hair, but who cares, right? ;) Actually, I have taken to just leaving my vacuum out and plugged in since I use it all the time! lol Oh well, life is short, why sweat the small stuff, right?
I hope each and every one of you have been having a good Summer so far.
Oh, and guess what!! Tomorrow (the 17th) is Beverly’s birthday!! Be sure to hop on over there and wish her a very happy one, okay?
I’d also like to take this opportunity to publicly thank 2 friends of mine who are priceless; they understand me in two completely different ways, both amazing! Debbie, you understand my heart; John, you understand my spirit. Thank you both so much for always being there for me. Maybe someday we three can bring Australia, the UK and America together and meet!
Okay, I’m outta’ here - you guys all take good care now! ((((hugs all around))))

Gidday Leigh (((hug)))
While you’re boiling, I’m freezin’ my little butt off. LOL
Callie and canines….it don’t get much better than that! ;) It makes me feel so much better knowing you are getting their unconditional and loving support.
awwww, you are so welcome, sweetie. I wish, too, that one day we could meet, “my” amazing and priceless friend! {{{HUUGGG}}}

Thinking of you and sending happy thought and vibes your way. I hope things get better for you soon.
I know what you mean about the dogs. Mine used to do the same thing. I miss having them around, just for that!
