Empathy for the Wicked Witch

I’m still here, and still alive, albeit barely. I have come to the conclusion that the poor Wicked Witch of the West suffered greatly when she melted after Dorothy poured the water on her. Why have I come to that conclusion, you ask? Because for the past 2 days it has been 110 degrees here, and 105 the 2 days before that! I believe I know what it feels like to melt. Oh yes I do! So, I have great empathy for the witch, even though she was wicked. ;)

How’s the weather in your neck of the woods??

I began Thoughtprints almost 6 years ago when I needed an outlet, and this blog became exactly that for me. I truly hope you enjoy your time here.

  2. Ick! I thought we had it bad down this way with 102 for several days in a row! What in the world is with this Colorado weather??

I guess it could be worse, I could be in Iowa with 102 degrees and 90 percent humidity, lol.

  4. Oh Leigh, pleease don’t melt! lol In all seriousness though, I do hope that your temps start dropping. THAT is just waaay too HOT!
As you know it’s winter down here in Australia, and Victoria being a southern state…it’s fairly chilly right now. (Yes, the Sth. is cooler than the north *w*)
So, it’s jacket and scarf weather for us right now.

    bye for now *mwah*
