What a Cutie!
Mary Lou, ask and ye shall receive! *wink*
Isn’t she adorable?! She is growing SO fast!!

Sorry for the slight blur, but even blurry she is pretty!

These pics just don’t do her justice. When she pants she looks just like she’s smiling; the corners of her mouth turn up and everything.
She’s such a good girl! Like any puppy, she is onery, but she responds very well to verbal commands already. She knows that NO means NO! lol She loves water, particularly the shower! My daughter will take her into the shower with her, and believe it or not Daisy falls asleep! LOL It’s so funny! Potty training is going a little slow, but it’s not her fault; she’s only a baby after all, and can’t hold her water for long! lol She gets VERY happy when she does her business outside cuz she knows she’s done a good thing.
And now, because I’m on the subject of dogs (of course *snicker*), I got the following recently from my sister, and just had to share it because it is so true! Enjoy!
If a dog was the teacher you would learn stuff like:
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back in the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you’re scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout! Run right back and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you’re not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

She’ll learn fast ^_^ Sh is certainly a joy to look at, and I’m sure she keeeps you smiling. Love you, Leigh!

Is she a Golden? No intent to sound morbid, but when the time comes that my Maggie is no longer by my side, we will get a golden.
But…I can wait, I hope that is not for many, many years yet.

Awwwww! Her fur looks as soft as velvet. Love the list, too, Leigh. Such good words of wisdom.

Debbie, you better believe we are!
Susan, yes, she is a Golden Retriever, and just as sweet as she can be - with us, anyway. She is trying like the dickens to move up in the heirarchy of the pack! It’s fun and interesting to sit back and watch them all work it out.
Leslie, you’re right, she IS as soft as velvet! Hubby calls her the little cotton ball.
