This ‘n That, and Pictures, Too!

Well howdy doody, guys! lol

Long time no read, eh? ;) Sooo much has been happening lately. Not busy, busy, overwhelming stuff; just …. consistent. Know what I mean?

Let’s see ….. well, the first thing I want to do is wish a very Happy Birthday to my sweet Miss Lily! She’s a whole year old today. My daughter and her best friend are going to have a little party for her after school. *grin* They bought her treats and a new toy, and they’re going to take her to the park. Of course, there are cupcakes for the humans. ;)

Speaking of Miss Lily, I got a wild hair and decided to completely revamp my Gallery, so if you have a chance and an inkling, go take a look. I added new pics to all of my dogs’ albums, and created a new one for Brayden. It was totally fun. My puppies are all grown up now - and they’re all gorgeous! (as you can see by the pic up top) Wanna see some more? ;)

Lily smiling up at my daughter

Here is Miss Lily smiling up at my daughter. Is that cute or what!

Mr. Riley, now 2 years old!

Here’s big Mr. Riley. He’s 2 years old already! And believe it or not, this little 5 1/2 pound dog is Alpha over all those big dogs! He’s definitely the BOSS!

Beautiful Cheyenne!

And last but certainly not least, my beautiful, smart, funny, loving Lab, Cheyenne.

Pretty great, eh? Oh, and guess what else! My niece is going to have another baby! Nevaeh is going to have a little brother or sister. Oh my … lol … it’s going to be interesting, to say the least. Let’s just say that sharing is not her favorite thing to do. LOL Hopefully that will change real fast!

A couple weekends ago we had some pretty cool weather, albeit typically Colorado-like; Saturday night we had a thunderstorm (complete with hail), then the wind blew like a banshee, then the sleet came, then finally on Sunday it snowed. lol It was beautiful, too. But as is normal with Spring snows, it melted almost as fast as it accumulated, so I was unable to get any good pics of it.

Hubby and Son’s new jobs are going well. My son is taking to the classroom training much better than my husband. Hubby did the same thing for soooo long, so now it’s kind of difficult for him to change his mindset to something new. But it’s still going okay; they both like the job itself a lot!

About a week or so ago I was outside with Riley when my neighbor across the street came outside, too. Of course he made a beeline for her as he always does, so I had go over there to get him. Unbeknownst to me, there was a car coming down the street and it had to stop for me (I was facing my neighbor while standing in the street and didn’t hear the car). Well, when I turned and saw it, I immediately hollered “I’m sorry” and waved as I went back across the street. Know what I got in return? I HUGE crusty! It was maybe 20 seconds out of this guy’s life, and I guess it pissed him off. ANYway, it brought to mind how a smile can make someone’s day, just as a frown can ruin it. I admit that part of my day was ruined by that guy and the look he gave me. So remember to smile when you see someone, even if they make you wait for 20 seconds. ;)

(((((HUGS)))))

  3. Miss Lily is a beautiful thing!
Next time someone buzzes you, just make a kiss gesture and smile. That pisses them off.
