Little Bit of Everything

Hidee Ho, folks! So how’s your Monday been so far? Mine has been a-okay.

Hey, have I told ya’ll lately how much I appreciate your love and support, especially this past year? Cuz if I haven’t, shame on me! ;) THANK YOU - all of you - for always offering your most heartfelt friendship and support. You’ll never know how much it has meant to me. (((((HUGS)))))

Okay, now for some techie news: Have you heard of the new despamming plugin called SpamLookup? If you haven’t, run out and snag it! I did, and lemme tell ya’, it REALLY works! And guess where I heard about it? On Jay Allen’s site! (you know, the inventor of MT-Blacklist?) Yep, even he is touting it as the newest and best despamming plugin out there. Of course, he and Brad Choate are buddies and are both on the six apart team, so it’s not like he’s recommending his competition really. ;) Anyway, check it out! It’s super easy to install, and I have not had ONE SINGLE comment or trackback spam since I installed it! Hoooo Doggy!!! LOL

Now for the personal good stuff. ;) I forgot to tell you guys that I have joined our brand spankin’ new Humane Society as a volunteer! My Veterinarian spearheaded the project which took over all animal services from the City and turned the dog pound into a no-kill shelter for homeless animals. Right on, huh! My Vet rocks. ;) ANYway, I received an email from him a couple weeks ago telling me they were going to have their first volunteer meeting, and hoped my daughter and I could both attend, which of course we did. I volunteered for lots of stuff, but so far what they needed me to do most was take pictures of some animals for their web site, which is still kinda’ bare bones, but it’s getting there. I’m really excited about it!! It will be so much fun working for and with the animals!
