Grandbaby Update

Well, they couldn’t get my DIL in for an ultrasound today, so it is scheduled for 9:00am Monday. Drats! Now I have to wait all weekend! Yet another lesson in honing my patience skills. *wink*

Hey, I have a question for you coding brains out there: You know when you set the opacity filter for your background to something other than 100% in your CSS? How come it doesn’t show up in Mozilla? Is it like the scrollbar thing and it just doesn’t show, or am I doing something wrong? It shows up fine in IE.

Oh, guess what! I read this last night and got all excited, cuz that’s my veterinarian! I’m going to give his office a call and see what I can do to help see this plan through to fruition! Woo Hoo! We need it here big time! And how fun and rewarding would that be to save animals’ lives!

I guess that’s it for now. Hope ya’ll are having a great Friday the 13th! *evil grin* Repeat after me: It’s all in your mind …. it’s all in your mind LOL!

    What a great idea and how cool is it that that is your vet?

    Patience is the least of my virtues….I’d be sitting on pins and needles if I were you. How exciting though.

    Hope you had a mah-velous Friday! My black cat’s crossed my path a million times, so I’m assured good luck

    have you added the little markup for mozilla?
    it would look something like this…
    -moz-opacity: 50%;
    you can adjust it, but it isn’t always the same as the one you use for IE. Hope that helps.

    btw…happy valentines day Leigh ((hugs))

    Leslie, yes, pins and needles. My hiney’s already sore! LOL!

    Diane, I actually have added that, but it made no difference. At least I don’t see it on my machine when using Mozilla. Darn it, anyway! Thank you so much, though, for your help!

    I’ve run into the same problem. It’s because IE tends to show display CSS that doesn’t actually exist! Mozilla/Netscape/Opera are less forgiving. Which is why I now do all my previewing in Mozilla.

    And even if it doesn’t show transparent, it’s still a pretty layout

    Happy Valentine’s Day! (((hugs)))

    Patience Granny! lol All good things come to those who wait. ;) Hey, guess what? My first born niece, Tracey is pregnant! )) I’m gonna be a great aunt in October. Mum and Dad are ‘over the moon.’ Their sweet little Tracey Lee is going to make them great grandparents. )))

    ps all that stuff about my other niece, Kelly, being pregnant was…*sigh* wrong! Anyway, that doesn’t matter now, Tracey being pregnant is just the bestest news! Tracey is my oldest brother’s daughter.
