Do You Know What This Means?

Statement has no result columns to bind (perhaps you need to successfully call execute first) at lib/MT/ObjectDriver/DBI.pm line 44.

I have done everything I can think of (reinstalling all MT files; installing newest version of MT-Blacklist), but nothing has stopped these wacky error messages I get. I can’t ping anything when I save new entries, no one can leave comments without getting weird errors, and I get no email notifications of new messages, which is really making me mad because I can’t blacklist spam comments if I don’t get email notification of them! UGH! I checked that line 44 thing in DBI.pm, and as far as I can tell, it does call execute first! This is way above my head — can anyone help me?? Please? *batting eyelashes*

Sorry Hon, wish I could help you. I am still at the crawling stages. Jennifer at fortysomething.ca has been my Angel when it comes to technical difficulties. She not only has given generously of her time but has always been kind enough to help me. Why not ask her? I am sure she will gladly help out a fellow blogger.

No help from here, either. But I haven’t gotten any wierd error yet.

Good luck. It must be terribly frustrating.

Hmmmm … you haven’t gotten any error messages, Cassie? How ’bout the rest of you, have you? I wonder if it’s something strictly on my server or something.

Thanks, anyway, ya’ll. Maybe Leslie will ask Carl for me. *hint hint* LOL!

No error messages here with comments either. hmmm?

Maybe it’s that blacklist thingy, I was on someone’s blog the other day & they said they had to remove it, because it was causing errors in the comments, something to do with not recognizing the “good” people??? Wish I could remember where I saw that now. Doggone my mind! Grrrr!

Oh wait a minute… how exactly are you holding your mouth when you make a comment? That’s probably what’s wrong my dear friend. You’re holding your mouth like this when you should be holding it like this *grins* ;) I know it’s upsetting, now the ZONKBOARD isn’t working for anyone tonight. Go figure.

LOL @ CJ! You’re too funny, ya’ goofy gal, you. ;) I guess I’ll have to practice holding my mouth like that when I click the button! lol I’ve been wondering about the MT-Blacklist, but it’s been working perfectly for such a long time … why would it start causing problems now, so suddenly like that? Hmmmmm ….

Min, I got your email. That’s the same error message I get when trying to comment, too. I get that sometimes when I’m saving new entries, also. It’s so damn frustrating! GRRRR!

Have any of you subscribed to the comments on this entry? Is THAT at least working????

    Thanks again, everyone!

Carl (in his hyper-sleepy state) says it sounds like your comment database is corrupt. That’s about all the help he’s gonna be at the moment because he’s a zombie.

Hey Leslie? I have a corrupt mind. Is that why the brain isn’t engaged all the time? LMAO Actually I know what’s wrong with my mind… I set on it so much it’s flat! Brouhaha!

P.S. I have NOT subscribed, and got this error when I submitted previous comment:

Have you tried this? Sometimes it makes you feel better.

CJ, if your mind is flat, I’ll take a flat one any day, ya nut, ya.

(Carl has left the building. Well, actually, the main floor. He’s gone to bed because he’s been working 17-hour days and weekends for two weeks now. Brainwaves gone. Be back later.)

CJ, you’re just … YOU! And that is a WUNNNNNderful thing!!!

Thanks, Faith! I’m flattered that you think my eye-batting is cute! LOL!!

I’ve run a repair on all the tables in my database, so I’m crossing my fingers that I won’t get an error with this comment! *commencing finger-crossing*

Between you, CJ and Leslie you crack me up - you should have a joint comedy page. My mind is corrupt too, maybe thats why I can’t tackle all the technical stuff. I only get an error message when I post a comment - though the message does appear when I refresh my browser. Got your email Hon - will respond tonight.

Sent you another email, hope you receive it. So far it has not yet been returned as undelivered and will keep my fingers crossed.

Are you finding help with your problem? Hope it gets sorted out soon. I know how frustrating it is when you try something and it just will not work.

I know this is way out in left field, and probably won’t help, but when a script error says something is in “line 44″ or any other number, that’s just where it’s –reporting– the error… but the error could be a couple lines above… not meaning that there is a syntax error necessarily above, but meaning the command that is causing the issue might be a line or two above the one you are looking at…

Yes indeed, and now that I’ve commented, I’m looking in the ::application line below the error one, and the people above look correct, that it looks like a problem with that blacklist plugin…

Kind of an annoying error message, but the comments still work. As my coworker says “have you tried a google search?” lol
