I Really Hate Winter - It Just Brings Sickness!

Well, as hard as Hubby tried to dodge the bullet, he was unable to; he’s sick. Not exactly with what Callie and I had, but sick nonetheless. He’s running a pretty good temp of 101.1 — yuck! My daughter and I are trying to take as good care of him as he did us. He was such a good doctor/nurse! ;)

Another bit of bad news — well, at the very least news which is nerve-rattling, my cousin’s son, who is the same age as my oldest, was sent to Afghanistan last month. He’s in the Army, but I don’t know what he does exactly. He didn’t join until he had finished college, and he’s a real brain, so it’s probably something like Intelligence, but still …. it’s kind of scary.

I guess I had better go and try to round up some chains. Why, you ask? ;) Because I’ll have to chain my husband to a chair or the bed in order to get him to stay home from work tomorrow! lol Hmmmm … no wait, I can’t think about things like that - the poor guy is sick! *evil grin*

Hope hubby feels better soon. Not only was he a good doctor/nurse but he made a damn fine secretary too. You should give him a guest spot on your blog once a week. :-)

They’ve just gotta understand that it’s okay to stay home when unwell, eh?

HEY… Tony!!! Do what your wonderful wife tells you… she knows what she’s talking about, besides, you wouldn’t want to get those you work with sick, would ya?
Love you, Leigh… hope that helped. ^_^
Oh, and Tony, hope you’re feeling better real soon.

((hugs)), sorry to hear about “Mr. Thoughtprints” being under the covers… or uh, the weather.

Look on the bright side… as long as he’s feelin’ blah…

    a) you don’t have to cook - he probably couldn’t keep it down
    b) do laundry - he’s not dirtying up any clothes, cause he’s not working
    c) wash dishes - no cook, no dishes to wash
    d) clean house - he’s in bed, Callie is in school, you’re the only one bee-boppin’ around, and just how dirty are you gonna get your own house, huh? See my point? LOL

Take care of you & hubby and Callie and Mom & the boys too… y’all have had a time, bless your pea pickin’ hearts. Love you Leigh!!! (((Hugs)))
