Guess What!!!
I got home about an hour ago from the best Christmas Eve I have ever had! Aside from the fact that we spent a few hours laughing and having a wonderful time with my family, and our oldest son and his wife bought us a brand new 27″ color TV, and I got to watch as Baby Nevaeh’s mother opened up her very first Christmas gifts for her, we got the MOST AMAZING AND WONDERFUL GIFT WE COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED –
We’re going to be Grandparents!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH. MY. GOSH!!!!!!!!! Our oldest and his wife are pregnant!!!!!!! As I sit here typing this, it still seems so surreal …. I mean … when you have children you think about the future and the “somedays” …. “someday when they’re grown” ….. “someday when all the kids are out of the house” ….. “someday when we have grandkids” ….. well, for us that someday is here! Neither of us feels old enough to be Grandma and Grandpa, but that’s cool, cuz we’ll still be young enough to have fun with our grandchild, ya’ know? 
Oh man … I just can’t believe it!!!!! Come August, this 45 year old blonde chick is gonna be a Grandma!!!!!!!!!

OH WOW!!!! That IS the most wonderful and beautiful news! They picked a GOOD time to share their joy, too, hey! Christmas Eve…PERFECT!!!
)) Tell the excited couple I wish them all the happiness in the world as they step into this most amazing part of their life. There’s nothing quite like becoming a parent for the first time, eh?

Oh Leigh… I am so so tickled for you… My MIL was saying tonight how she can not beleive grandchild #4 is due any day (my BIL and his wife). Her children can not be old enough, therefor neither can she LOL.
