We haven’t had a single trick-or-treater yet. It’s just too darn cold out there! Plus there are lots of activities set up for kids all around town, so I’m sure their parents would rather partake of them than walk the streets and freeze to death! ;)
I’m here all alone. My daughter is over at my niece’s helping with the baby. They went shopping, too, and bought Nevaeh a new toy and outfit. 
Hubby is still at work. I’ve just been sitting here in the dark, all comfy and cozy under my blankie in the recliner, sipping raspberry hot chocolate and watching cheesy horror flicks on TV. I love nights like this. ;)
I hope you’re comfy and cozy wherever you are tonight, too.

I’m convinced it’s warmer this year than last, here at least. And in our neighborhood the kids seem to be out later. Like they did the other activites first, then hit the houses. Which is what we did too, lol. There are definitely kids out there now. But we haven’t any candy except for Isabel’s loot!

I was going to say that it’s hard not to be cozy around Michigan at the moment. Damned warm for a Halloween, not that I’m complaining. It’s supposed to drop off again come tomorrow.

We had 2 trick-or-treaters this year - down from last year’s 4, but still better than the 0 we had in ‘01. But I still had an awesome pumpkin! It turned out so well I’m going to post pictures of it on my blog in the morning.

Uh oh, sounds like things are catching up with you, including bugs. I hope you can lounge around in your robe and bunny slippers on Saturday. Maybe a nice bath, a couple of naps, and a hot rum drink.

I hear you’re feeling not so good? (a little birdy told me.) Hope you feel better real soon and I also wanted to tell you I’m glad I stopped by because you have a great blog here! Yup, here in Michigan it was something like 68 or 70 degrees today; VERY unusual for Halloween! But the cold weather is coming upon us fast…….take care! Oh, GET WELL SOON!

We’ve never had more than 6 trick or treaters. You can always share the “leftover” treats with the people at work, or neighbors, or friends or family - you get the idea.
Please let me wish you a belated “Happy Halloween” I’d have come to your house if I could, but at least I can visit you here.

Today you have permission to:
1. sleep in
2. snooze as late as you want to
3. wear your jammies/nightie all day
4. refuse to cook/wash dishes/clean/do laundry
5. NOT be Ms Happy Sunshine (until at least 12:01 PM)
So take your “good feelin’ meds” no matter how bad it tastes (BTW the name of that lemon stuff is “Thera Flu” NOT THERMA! In other words… take care of YOU today & rest up.

Why did you not say you were not feeling well? You must always let your friends know these things so we can send you hugs and show how much we care. Next lecture: look after yourself this weekend, relax (your Friday night was a great start) and delegate wherever possible.
