Some Things Just AREN’T Cool!

Am I the only one who thinks the new Quiznos commercial is disgusting and perverted??? Have you seen it? The one where two guys, looking like businessmen, are sitting outside having lunch, and one of ‘em has a Quiznos sandwich, and the other one has a sandwich from another place? Yeah, the guy with the Quiznos sandwich asks the other guy if he was raised by wolves or something, and the guy looks deep in thought for a second, then it goes to him in a cave with a mother wolf and a baby wolf, and he and the baby are both nursing off the Mom. Yeah, that’s right, he’s sucking the mama wolf’s teat!

That is just SO WRONG!!

I haven’t seen any of these commercials yet, but that is just disgusting! I know I won’t be buying anything from them again.

Haven’t seen it and that sounds like a good thing. I’d say that pretty much crosses the line into truly tasteless advertising. (Who comes up with this crap?)

Yep, you’re all right — it’s disgusting for sure! I won’t be buying from them, either! I try to imagine the head honchos of the company taking a meeting with the advertising guys and seeing their presentation, then actually saying, “Yes, we like it!”. ?????? And I wonder how much that little commercial cost! Yuck! I get all grossed out just thinking about it! *shudder*

Lighten up. I assure you it was all done in fun. I don’t think the commercial is an accurate reflection on the taste of their product. For those of you who think it is.. there’s always Subway. Magnifico!

Well, Marc, it may not be an accurate reflection on the taste of their product, but if not, then why run the ad??? Isn’t that the purpose of ads?? Frankly, I don’t purchase their food to begin with, but I’m sure it’s good; it’s the character and morals of those who run the company that I question! There’s nothing “fun” about seeing something that crosses the line of decency. But thanks for your thoughts on the subject, anyway.

crazy people! crazy people! tasteless? advertising is what’s tasteless! blithely deciding to buy or not buy something based on the commercial they feed you is the only obscenity here. if a commercial achieves some kind of absurdity or perversity, some kind of sign of independent thought, that might actually redeem it, but that’s not even the case here: it’s just a little bit of silliness. and you’re offended! you won’t buy from them again! good god, i don’t understand people sometimes…

i can’t even imagine on what basis it could be offensive. would it be ok and cute if it were a baby at the wolf’s teat? but add the twist that he’s somehow fullgrown and suit-clad and then it’s unbearable?

I think the commercial is terrible. i want to throw up everytime it comes on. Is there any way they can take it off. The marketing people are warped. They need to make a commercial that makes you want to go out and buy their product. This commercial makes me sick.

Havent actually seen the commercial yet, however, everyone that has seen it, says how humorous it was. Not only that, but they seem to keep talking about it. Perhaps it is bad advertising, but it seems to me that anything that gets people to talk about your company (bad food aside) is pretty ingenious. I am actually here online to try and find this elicit commercial when I stumbled across this site. Perhaps I will be turned off as well, But I am keeping an open mind until then. After all, they probably arent dancing with an all meat sandwich to tango music.

Wow, the dead rats commercial is just stupid. It is not creative, just different. I think it is a really bad idea to associate rats and food on any level. Come up with something different and creative, I am all for outside the box thinking, but this commercial goes far beyond that. One word, disgusting………..not funny and i am a Howard Stern fan!

According to advertisers, they are not rats; they are monkeys. I originally thought they were pieces of toast. (Toasty …)

Well, I’ve never contacted a company about their advertizing until now. My wife and I could not believe that any company — particularly a RESTAURANT — would come up with such nauseating commercials.
As I said in my email to Quiznos, it’s hard to have an appetite when the restaurant’s advertizing characters are Singing Deformed O’possum Fetuses!
Unbelievable that SOMEONE at Quiznos Corportate must have thought (as only Corporate Types can): “Wow! That’s great! Who the hell needs a talking chihuahua when we have Singing Grossly-Deformed ‘Possum Fetuses!”
My wife said she thinks Quiznos, in keeping with their ad campaign, should change the “Mm mm mm mm mm!” to “Gag gag gag gag puke!”
I concur. Quiznos has earned our nomination for Most Nauseating Ads of the Twenty-First Century.

My heart skips a beat everytime that commercial comes on. What are those singing rats suppose to represent. Are they representing the rats that are in the Quizons restaurant kitchen? I have to turn the channel everytime the commercial comes on. Their eyes and teeth are disqusting?

Well, the commercials make me want to try Quizno’s. The commercials are funny as can be, every time I see one I laugh with much heartiness.

I’m going to Quizno’s today! I expect that the food will be very good, better than most anyplace that homogenizes everything to be PC, to not offend, to not give out only what people “think” they can immediately and completely understand. I never heard of Quizno’s before the commercials. Now I’m going to spend money there.

    I guess the commercial worked!

I have eaten at Quiznos, it was over rated then and now I won’t eat there again; not because of the food, but the little dead hamster looking critters made me ill. The wolf commercial was obscene also. Animals can be very useful for advertising in their natural(live looking) state and very cute I must add(even when their farting in a Budweiser commercial; at least that’s natural). A dead budgie and frozen rodents are not funny, their upsetting to view and disrespectful.

I am far from pc, and I found the mutated rats commercial disgusting. Perhaps to some the commercial is funny, but it is not good advertising. They are selling subs and nothing else. Whatever executive signed off on this one is way off. Creative, funny, different, and outside the box can be achieved without using deformed rats-spongemonkeys as they are called

Lighten up. Gosh. It’s just a commercial. I think it’s absolutely hilarious, and I can’t get the song out of my head. It’s the best commercial ever. I get so excited whenever I see the spongemonkeys. They are gross, but they’re so funny. I laugh my butt off everytime I see them. And I’m a vegetarian. I think it was brilliant and has already brought in customers. So they’ve done what they’ve desired to do.

Those two Quiznos commercials are the WORST of all time. If the executives there are so stupid, I don’t want to eat their food. Who knows what they put in their sandwiches? Bad music is being performed by something that looks like a cross between a furry phalus and some kind of vermine. If Quiznos were a publicly traded company, the stockholders would have fired the CEO. In addition, that wolf commercial was sick. Someone at Quiznos has severe psychosexual dysfunction.

Given all of these asinine and disgusting comments, I’ll never eat food HERE again. Some people need to lighten up and be more joyful in life. The rodent commercials ARE brilliant. It shows that the people behind it really understand the humor of the internet, present company excluded.
