Why do you blog? What is the purpose of this community of ours? I can tell you what my perception of it is — it is a community of people from across the world who type out their feelings, emotions, opinions and ideas on a keyboard attached to their computers, sending them across cyberspace for anyone who wishes, and is so inclined, to share in. And there is something else, too — or at least I would hope so. I would hope we are also here to offer love, support and encouragement to anyone who may be in need.

Well, I was fortunate enough to come across a web site tonight which both inspired and awed me, and summoned in me a very real desire to offer as many prayers and as much positive energy and good vibes as I can for a remarkable young man. I would do much more if I could, but as is usually always the case when “meeting” someone inside this populated void we call cyberspace, distance prevents me from doing so. But Zander, please know that you honestly are in my thoughts and prayers, and I will do all I can to inspire more prayers and positive energy on your behalf. You are an amazing young man! I hope you know that by just being you, you have inspired a whole community of people to come together in a common goal — to offer up as many prayers, positive energy, good vibes and karma, to help you as best we can; and in doing so, making us all the better for it — more giving, more tolerant, more supportive and more selfless.

So c’mon, people, visit Zander and let him know you’re on his side and are offering your energies for and to him, for as long as it takes! Not only will it help him, but it will open up your own world beyond the perimeter of current vision, which can only be good!
