Well, Mom’s surgery went well, and she is now resting comfortably at the hospital. OMG, she is so funny when she’s on drugs! :lol She always has a wonderful sense of humor, but when she’s coming out of anasthesia, she’s a riot! She kept falling asleep mid-sentence, and even nodded off with a mouthful of crackers. We had to keep waking her up so she could finish eating without choking herself! Then the respiratory therapist came in to check her sats, but wasn’t getting a real reliable reading because her hands were cold, so he gently took her hand and held it for a while to warm it up, then moved it over and told her to let her arm kind of hang off the side of the bed. What he didn’t realize is that she had fallen asleep. lol My sister and I were giggling under our breath, just waiting for him to notice (we know him pretty well). Anyway, when he told her to move her hand over, she woke up and just stared at him, then said, “Is he … just wanting to fight??”. LOL! His mouth kind of dropped open, and he was at a total loss for words. My sister and I broke out laughing so hard we couldn’t even talk! Mom started giggling and said she was dreaming that he (the therapist) was telling her that he’d run into a man he knew and said hello, but instead of saying hello back, the other guy popped off at him. She said it was so vivid, she would’ve sworn it really happened. LOL Therefore, her question to him. LOL We laughed so hard our stomachs literally ached. She’s such a hoot! :biggrin

I think I’m going to go and treat myself to a nap. I couldn’t sleep last night at all (again), and by the time I finally got to sleep, there was only an hour left before the alarm went off. :hmph I don’t function too well with only an hour of sleep. My body is rebelling loudly! So, I’m off for a brief visit to the Sandman. :wink
