To the Dogs

25th January, 2003

My daughter and I have been watching Animal Planet’s coverage of the AKC Eukanuba National Invitational Championship. Some of those dogs are gorgeous! I’m such a dog-lover. If I could have one of each of the breeds I’ve fallen in love with tonight, I’d have to move to the country and build a giant kennel.

How ’bout you? Are you a dog-lover? A cat-lover? Or perhaps you’re into reptiles, or rodents, or … ???

    I love my cat, she has been with me for a long time, but I will tell ya…..I miss my dog something awful. There is just a certain sense of companionship that I got from my dog that I dont get my my cat. I think the difference is that with my kitty, she is pretty self-sufficient, she pretty much takes care of herself other than the good and litter stuff. My dog on the other hand, was very demanding, more like a child.

    cat of course)) i lvoe kup, i have almsot all my life always had a cat. my mother had a litter of kittens born the day before iw as and a litter of pups.. so i ahve always been aroudn animals…

    dogs are ok… i dotn care really either way, altho i know iwould be attached if i had one.

    if i was younger i would think about a bird… an african grey or some such..but they live to long and i am too old nwo

    I’m a furry animal lover. I want dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs… I want a lot of animals. Currently we only have 2 cats though, because we live in an apartment. First thing, when we move into a house… We’re getting two dogs. Yay!

    I have 5 cats, 3 dogs and 1 puppy. I love all kinds of critters. My husband has been talking about getting some miniture goats. *hehehe*

    I’ve always had dogs around. Past companions have been collie, greyhound and Great Dane… the current doggie companion is a labrador. We’ve had things in tanks occasionally (terrapins, axolotls) and my elder brother remembers a couple of birds (including Fred, a budgie who apparently thought he was some kind of psycho terminator vulture).

    If I could get my hands on a golden labrador pup and somehow magically keep him little forever lol….awwwww, they are just the cutest, cuddliest puppies!!! But, oh how I love our family doggy, Muddy!)) He’s got the most beautiful nature, and those big brown eyes… such a gentle soul. ))
