I am ending this day with a profound feeling of being blessed.

There is so much ugliness in this world …. so many shallow souls …. selfish hearts …. but I have been blessed beyond words by the friendship of some of the most loving and giving people I have ever known. They enrich my life on a daily basis, and never fail in letting me know I am not alone. They comfort my sadness; revel in my joy; and feed my intellect with unbelievable wisdom –

all gifts unparalleled by any other;

and while it is true that I have endured many a broken heart and hurt feelings by believing the words of false friends, I have come to realize how incredibly lucky I am to have found those who are genuine. It was the words of a new and wonderful friend which brought to the surface once again this marvelous realization. Thank you, Monica. *hug*
