Yes, They Think!

| | Comments (4)

I get tired of people telling me dogs don't think and make decisions. That's pure BS! I watch my dogs make decisions all the time. Take, for instance, tonight, when my youngest, Pippin, decided it would be a good idea to go from the sofa to the coffee table, then to the floor, knocking a couple'a things off in the process. I immediately said, "Pippin, noo noooo". She looked at me for a moment with this cute "Oops" look on her face, then kept on'a goin'. Two minutes later she was back on the sofa and wanted, once again, to get back over on the chair by the front door, and began to step onto the table. I sat here and watched as she stopped, looked at the table, removed her paw and jumped down and ran around the table. She totally stopped herself and decided to do it the acceptable way so she wouldn't be scolded again!

People who say dogs don't possess critical thinking skills are themselves idiots!

Tazzy chooses his toys to play with all the time. I put them all away and then he will go over and select what he feels like playing with. He knows the names of most of his stuff too, ball, duck, chew etc. They are smart. Smarter than husbands! LOL!

All I can say is WOW. I just visited your site for the first time, you are VERY talented! Cute dogs too! The little one, Riley reminds me of my dog Ginger, when I let her fur grow out. Did you do your theme design? It's beautiful! Jo at tiny dog blog

I totally agree with you! I'm right in the middle of trying to house train our puppy and I do believe she's very smart and sometimes I think I can see the wheels turning in her little head, thinking of what she's going to do next!

LOL Rox! So true!

Hi Jo! Thank you SO MUCH for your very kind words! Yes, as a matter of fact I did design the header graphic. I'm pleased you like it! :) I loved visiting your site, too!

Lynne, I know huh! It's so funny when you KNOW they're thinking about doing something and trying to figure out if they should or not. LOL!
