Testing Made Simple
I have always been very interested in two particular things -- law and medicine. It's a good thing I've always had a keen interest in medicine, as I spent many years, along with my sisters, taking care of our mother. It helps to have an interest in it, too, when you're a mom yourself, what with all those bumps, bruises, cuts and scrapes. ;)
I have marveled over the past few years at the strides medicine has made in the realm of home health care. The things my sisters and I were able to do for Mom at home were quite amazing, and with very little training required, if any. I continue to marvel at it when I see web sites like Home Health Testing®. I simply cannot believe the kinds of things we are able to do for ourselves these days! Tests for such things as Cholesterol, Colon Cancer, Hepatitis C, Menopause, Ovulation (I could've used one of those 29 years ago when trying to conceive my first child!), and even a home test for HIV.
Take a moment to imagine yourself concerned that you may have colon or prostate cancer, or perhaps something much less dire, like a urinary tract infection. Either way, wouldn't it be a blessing to be able to do the test yourself, in the comfort of your own home where you have complete privacy? I say yes. I would much rather do it myself. In addition, if you're like my husband, who has colon and prostate cancer in his family, I would think it would bring great peace of mind to be able to test yourself at home as a regular course in preventive care. And certainly cheaper than going to your doctor and/or hospital!
The Home Health Testing® web site openly states that they respect our privacy and will "never contact a customer if they can help it. We do not engage in email spam, junk mail, telephone solicitations or any other annoying 'marketing techniques' so prevalent today". You can also take comfort in knowing their tests are all FDA approved. This is something I am definitely telling my husband about!
