Mile High Denver
It comes as no surprise to me that Denver, the Mile High City, in my gorgeous state of Colorado, is one of America's favorite cities. Some of the reasons why are:
The sun typically shines on the Mile High City more than 300 days a year
Denver is home to the largest urban bike trail system in the U.S.
Skaters can check out the largest free public skate park in the nation
Do you know why it's called the Mile High City? Because it sits at the foot of the Rocky Mountains at precisely 5,280 feet. Click that link up there and go look at some pictures. They're cool. I just wish there were more of them!
