Thoughtprints

Just wanted to catch up real quick -- I had two wonderful days with my grandson! :) He totally blows me away with how smart he is! The 4th was a blast watching him watch fireworks. :) The next day, my poor daughter-in-law's wisdom tooth broke in half, so the dentist opened up his office for her so she could have it fixed and we got to babysit! We (my daughter and I) had SO much fun with him!!

Hubs was off visiting his best friend out of town and came back late Saturday night sporting a horrendous sunburn. I guess he thinks he's Superman or something and immune to the sun's rays , because when his friend's wife offered him sunscreen, he told her no. Anyway, my daughter and her boyfriend went to Wal-Mart and picked up some aloe with lidocaine, tea tree oil and vitamin E, and it's actually really helped. He's only blistering on one little spot of his left arm and that's it. It totally amazes me, cuz this guy was RED!! He's finally getting to where he can actually wear clothes now. LOL

I'm going out of town today with my sister for her appointment with the doctor who will be doing her hiatal hernia surgery. I'm sure they'll be setting the date for it finally. I know she's very anxious to get it over with!

Friday my son is closing on, and taking possession of, his first house!!! We're all pretty excited about that! As soon as I can I'll get in there and take some pics so you can see what it looks like. He'll be moving in over the weekend. His grandparents and aunts and uncles are anxious to see it, too!

Ummm, let's see, what else is going on ...... oh yeah, Sunday is our anniversary. I think he'll be working, though, but that's OK. After you've been married as long as we have (25 years) it's not that big of a deal anymore. LOL!
