Thoughtprints: Are They Serious?

So I was sitting in my livingroom eating a very late dinner and watching TV when a commercial for Restless Leg Syndrome caught my attention. I have RLS, but have not sought medication for it, primarily because I simply don't want to have to take another pill every day! Anyway, the commercial was about Mirapex. It finally winds down to the end, and the lady's voice starts mentioning the side effects like they do, and suddenly I hear her say something like "if you notice a sudden urge for gambling, sex or other intense urges, contact your doctor right away". I was like, Huh??? Did I hear that right? So I went back (I love TiVo) so I could hear it again, and I'll be darned if I didn't hear the same thing! I couldn't believe it! I had no idea there were ingredients in a medication that would cause that!!

I decided to do some investigating ..... look what I found: Update: Litigation Involving Mirapex and Its Link with Compulsive Gambling Disorders. Um, OK. Wow. I have to believe there are some people who will like those side effects -- mainly the sex one.
