Why Are You Staring at Me?

Do you ever feel paranoid? Like everyone is looking at you when you pass by, or everyone's talking about you when you enter a room and then they suddenly shut up? Yeah, me too. It sucks, doesn't it! Right now I feel like everyone is pissed at me. I don't know why. For some reason it just feels like I've done something to make people mad at me. I reeeeaaally hate that! I can't stand it when people are mad at me. I'm a people-pleaser, you see. ;)

Hey, are you listening to me? Why aren't you paying attention? Are you pissed at me, too???

I often feel this way..I just try to ignore it and hope people find someone knew to occupy them...then again I could just be WAY too paranoid about the rest of the world...

I wasn't peeved at you until I came here and saw all those cookies. Now I'm really craving something chocolate but it's just after 5:am and I don't have a speck of chocolate here. The best I can do is hot chocolate.

Some folks are really good at making you feel paranoid. I think they practise in the mirror at night. And I rarely think people are delighted with me...
But this stuff happens on a very mediocre level.
Sometimes, something really precious happens between myself and someone else, and lifts me into a better place. That's when I realise where I truly belong...
or, alternatively, that's when I wake up and see a lot of mirror-wielding monsters out to get me

I get that feeling all the time. But what I hate the most is when you're looking at something in a store and someone comes like right up next to you and looks at the same thing.
