Seeing Your Face
I have two best friends from childhood, both of whom I hardly ever see. It's really pretty sad, considering they only live an hour and a half to two hours away from me. Our schedules just never seem to mesh whatsoever. Kim is always enormously busy and Kathy always seems to be having one crisis after another with her big family (5 daughters, 5 sons-in-law and 9 grandchildren!!). Oh sure, we talk on the phone, but it's not the same as being there. I miss looking at their faces when I talk to them. I wish we could do something like video conferencing when we talk! That would be awesome! We'd be able to see the tears that come when we laugh so hard it hurts! :)
