Breaking News
I have some very interesting and very good news concerning animal rights here in Colorado:
A Colorado bill to allow the courts to issue protective orders that include pets, passed the House committee on Wednesday. This bill (H.B. 1235) also expands the definition of animal cruelty to prohibit sexual abuse of animals. The Colorado House of Representatives will vote on this bill tomorrow, April 13.
Great! Now all we have to do is keep our fingers crossed for the vote tomorrow!
In other news, CBS has canceled Don Imus' radio show, effective immediately, after uproar over his racist and sexist comments about Rutgers women's basketball team. I would love to hear your opinion about this. Should they have canceled his show? Should they not have? Should Imus be going on all kinds of TV shows apologizing for is remarks, or should he have apologized to the Rutgers team and then shut up? Is he being made a scapegoat? Tell me what you think!

Thoughts from others
Gag on the dog poop.
I think the Don Imus thing is over the top. There are real issues to report about.
I use Family Tree Maker software for all my Geneaology(sp) needs and have traced back eight generations on my dads' side!
Still gagging about the dog poop.

IN Enumclaw WA. A man died from having sex with his stallion. The stallion upon examination was unharmed. People saying that bestiality harms animals is false.
This is an attempt BY radical groups like PETA and thier supporters HSUS to make laws to waste tax dollars. What it can do is make it so that people can take revenge on others by accusing them of bestiality and thus they lose thier animals.
If people were really are doing bestaility but not hurting animals, then why should we care? Morals maybe, I find that a bad concept for denial of happyness. I remember when GAY was a big deal.
