If you missed American Idol last night, then you have been deeply deprived, because it was an AWESOME show! The entertainment had me riveted, while the films of poverty-stricken children literally made me sob. I simply cannot stand to see children suffering like that. It absolutely breaks my heart into pieces. Please, if you haven't given yet, you can do it now by simply visiting American Idol's web site. You can also donate by going to iTunes and downloading some of the amazing performances from last night.

I'll tell you what .... when I see things like all of those thousands of little children suffering in poverty - in Africa AND here in America - I feel ashamed for complaining about the things in my life. Sometimes we need a wakeup call to realize exactly how fortunate and blessed we are. I am now fully awake, and very, very grateful. I bet if you think about it, you will be, too. So please go show some appreciation for your good fortune and give to those who are much, much less fortunate. Every little bit helps!
