My Poor Puppies

Do you know what I shouldn't do? I shouldn't leave comments on people's blogs when I'm tired. My brain and fingers do not communicate well when I am tired. I make silly, stupid mistakes that make me look illiterate and ignorant. Oh okay, maybe not that bad .... maybe just careless. Either way, I don't like it. I'm totally obsessive-compulsive when it comes to grammar, spelling and punctuation. What's that you say? I'm ?? Go away. You weren't even invited here!

Did I tell you about what happened to Cheyenne and Daisy? Oh man, we feel SO BAD for them! My daughter and her best friend took all the dogs out the other day to play ball since the weather was so beautiful. They went out into the street like they have a hundred times before. Well, after a while of chasing the ball, the girls noticed that Cheyenne was standing on the sidewalk whining. They looked down and saw blood! Somehow, some way, she had totally scraped up the pads of both front paws! They brought her in and Callie cleaned up her feet, while trying to figure out what in the world would have caused that to happen. Then later I noticed Daisy was walking funny. I told Callie to look at her back feet, and would you believe the pads on both her back paws were all scraped up like Cheyenne's?! We have NO idea what happened to them! I'm thinking maybe there was some broken glass in the street that the girls didn't see. They could have run on it when chasing the ball. Anyway, we're keeping their feet as clean as possible and watching them both closely. Tony is going to pick up some antibiotic at the vet supply store to give to them to help prevent infection. It is sooo hard watching them limp around the house. Breaks my heart! My poor girls.

Thoughts from others

Awww, poor poopies!! My first thought was glass, too. Surely something that had been covered in the melting snow... I'm no advocate of dog clothing, but I can see where booties could be useful!

(Grammar nazi... you and me both... lol)

Ahhahaha! Makes me laugh just thinking of those two with booties on their feet!

Oh that's right, you're my fellow grammar nazi! Right on!

Poor babies!

So what comment did you leave, and where, that is giving you so much grief?! Don't sweat it, toots!

Rox, I can't even remember now. LOL I still haven't slept, so my brain isn't exactly working right. Somewhere out there in the blogosphere, though, I sound really stupid. LOL!

Hope both Cheyenne and Daisy's tootsies (i mean pawsies *lol*)are all better real soon. Poor babies. Give 'em both a love pat from me, k?
