Thoughtprints: Monday's Over

Heinous headache. Cramps from hell. Congestion. Sore Throat. Dizzy. So that was my Monday. How was yours? ;)

Ever since I quit smoking I amaze myself with my smoke detection capabilities - even with my sinuses all plugged up like they are. I just knew I was smelling smoke, but there wasn't any smoke anywhere in the house, and it was beginning to drive me a little crazy, cuz I hate that smell! So anyway, I go and open the back door to let my doggies in the house and POW, major smoke attack! Someone is burning their fireplace and it does NOT smell good like most of 'em do. Yuck! I don't have one single window or door open and I could STILL smell that smoke. I should be hired by the fire department I tell ya'.

Wow, my head is really pounding, so I'm gonna go for now. But before I do, two things that made me feel good when I read them, here and here.

Oh, and guess what! Today is Riley's 4th birthday!!!
