Mmmm, Can You Smell That?

Guess what!!! It's RAINING! And not just raining, but thundering and lightning, too!! It's the first official thunderstorm of the season! In my family, this is a day worth celebrating! Well, it's especially sweet for my son, David, my daughter and myself. We're all three weather freaks, but especially Spring and Summer weather freaks. Dave's out on a train right now or I'd be calling him to rejoice! LOL! There just isn't anything better than rain. It washes the earth clean and leaves everything smelling as fresh as a newborn baby! Plus the sound of it can sing me to sleep. I love listening to it at night. Yay! Rain!

Well Fab, there was the Miss USA Pageant, but somehow looking at all those gorgeous women just doesn't do it for me. You know, cuz I'm not a guy like you, but who knows, maybe when I'm 50?

We had thunder and lightening 2 days ago. Woke me up!! We were suppose to have it yesterday but as always it bypassed us :( but hit other areas. We're suppose to have a 60% chance of T-storms today but I am not holding my breath :(

I love the rain.

Wasn't it great? And we needed the rain so much, so I was thrilled when I walked out the door from work as it started to rain. Of course, by the time I picked my kiddo up and headed for Target it was pouring buckets and hailing, lol.

But the lightning show was absolutely spectacular last night :) I quite enjoyed it once we were safely home and could enjoy it from the indoors. And I agree, everything smells so fresh, all the daily grit and dust washed away!
