Irresponsible? Or Just a Bad Mood.

Well, the back is feeling some better. At least I can walk a little straighter and a little faster. Am being very careful in what I do so as not to aggravate it even more. Keeping my fingers crossed when I wake tomorrow (or should I say later today?) it is even better.

So, Rob Morrow, Chad Lowe and Fisher Stevens were skiing in Aspen and got lost in fog and snow and ended up out of bounds.

Morrow hastened to say "We're all good skiers", but admitted on Saturday they didn't know the mountain. "We were going every which way."

They ended up with another group of lost skiers, who had used a cell phone to call for help. All were in an area closed to skiing.

Ski Patrol members led the group to the bottom of the mountain, a three-hour trip through heavy snow, streams and dense forest.

"It ended up being great because it was a good adventure," Morrow said.

It ended up being great? That's a pretty irresponsible thing to say, don't you think? Not only did the rescue cost a lot of money, but quite literally everyone's life was in danger at that point. Do they even know how many people skiing in out of bounds areas are killed in avalanches every year in Colorado? Evidently not. I know it wasn't completely their fault they ended up there, but geez .... his comments show his ignorance of the conditions requiring their rescue. Or maybe I'm just in a pissy mood. You decide.

Just in case it's the latter, I'll leave you with a very cool story about a man who saved his dog's life using mouth-to-snout resuscitation. Now that's love, people!

Thoughts from others

Well, my first thought puts me in the Bad Mood Camp.

They're B-List (at best) names, so who cares if they got lost?

Not sure if I agree with the B-List thing ... Rob Morrow currently stars in a big hit TV series; Chad Lowe's become a pretty well-respected Director/Producer; Fisher Stevens ... yeah, B-List for sure. ;)

Glad to hear that your back is on the mend. :)
I had a good night's sleep. No pins and needles at all. Yay!!! :)

Hopefully the back exercises I've been doing will put an end to all this crap! If not, it'll be back to Karl for one more adjustment.
Keep your finges crossed for me, Leigh. Mine are crossed for you. ;)

Take care hon.

Debbie, my fingers are DEFINITELY crossed for you! I'm glad last night was a good night for you. Have you or your Chiro ever considered fibromyalgia? I say that only because Debbie and Kelly both talk about the tingling and burning they have (not that I necessarily think you have it, but it might be worth mentioning to your doctor). (((hugs)))

I said B-List because I had not heard of them. LOL. Which means NOTHING!!!

I was kind of thinking that LOL

Thanks Leigh. I did mention Fibromyalgia to Bill last September. I told him that a friend ( you *w*) thought my symptoms sounded similiar to that of Fibromyalgia.
It's ok, hon. The pins and needles I was getting in my right hand was due to carpel tunnel. Since finishing work at the nursery I rarely suffer any numbness during the early hours. That's why I was surprised when they returned the other morning.
I'll just blame it on the vacuum cleaner now. lol

My doc and chiro say the numbness (in my right leg) is due to muscle spasms. When I get the pain in my leg it definitely feels like a nerve being pinched.
I really think these back exercises I've been doing are beginning to work. No sudden attacks to my leg (at all) while on my walk this evening. :)

Mum suggested one particular exercise which is good for the lower back. :) I'll have to call her tomorrow to thank her. ;)

Thanks again. (((hug)))
