OMGosh, American Idol was SO good last night! Everyone really stepped-up their game and brought it, baby! Now, without a doubt, the most surprising performance of the evening was Sanjaya! Who kenw! I couldn't believe what I was seeing! He can actually rock it, folks! I thought he was HOT!

The best performance of the evening, in my opinion was, by far, Melinda. Oh man, can that girl sing or what! And YES, Simon, she really is that nice!

Running a very close second were both Jordin and Lakisha. Outstanding voices on both of them, that's for sure! Jordin can sing waaay beyond her years (she's only 17), and Lakisha is just almost perfect every.single.week.

My boyfriend (Chris Sligh) once again did not disappoint! Yeah, if he wasn't married, and I was married, and I was like, oh I don't know, 20 years younger, I would so chase him down like a demented stalker and make him date me! He's got the greatest sense of humor ever and is a completely gentle spirit and very earthy, which just makes him even more snuggly. Oh, and he can really, really sing, too!!

Last, but not least, Blake totally rocked the house. And wasn't Ryan funny on stage with him after his performance? LOL Oh, and before I forget, what about that little girl who kept crying? LOL! How cute was she? She made me think of all the girls who would cry and swoon over The Beatles whenever they saw them in person. I was just waiting for her to fall over in a dead faint! So cool of Ryan to invite her on stage after the show to meet everyone, huh.

I wonder if she ever stopped crying ....
