A Beautiful Grandfather
Do you have an image in your mind of what your dream home would look like? What the layout would be and how it would be furnished? Me too. I will definitely have a huge river rock fireplace in the great room, and enormous wooden beams on the cathedral ceilings. The furniture will be in the dark leather family, and I will have at least a couple great big beautiful grandfather clocks - one for upstairs, and one for downstairs. My sister had a grandfather clock for years and years, and I just loved it. I don't know why, but I was always fascinated by how they used a key to wind it every day. Watching the pendulum swing and hearing the tick, tick, tick of it was completely relaxing. So without a doubt, someday I will have my own clock to listen to. :)
