Back on January 23rd I posted this entry about a man, supposedly a pillar of the community, who was arrested and later admitted (only to keep himself from going to prison!) to raping a 31 year old developmentally disabled woman over a 5 year period. Do you remember? Well anyway, I received a comment from the woman's brother and would like to share it with all of you (he has given me his permission), primarily because I would like you to take 2 minutes of your day and email our County Commissioners, telling them what you think about allowing a sexual deviant to remain on the County's payroll and continuing to work with at-risk adults. Just think how they'll feel if they start getting emails from around the world!! It would be awesome!! It takes a village to raise a child (something everyone seems to have forgotten in this age of constant litigation, etc.), and apparently the eyes of the world to keep politicians honest! (if that's possible)

Leigh, I can't say thank you enough for what you are doing to spread the word. John Gilbert Valdez needs to be someone's boyfriend in prison. I have been with case from the begining and have come to believe that Valdez may never see the inside of a cell. This is frustrating and unjust, believe me I am the real vicitms older brother. I wish channel 7 could have put the whole commissioner meeting on air. I have to say the one commissioner that stood up to take the heat bravely, and showed respect to the family was Greg Etl. Jack sat there like a deer in the head lights and done little to nothing. The last commissioner Gene A. Meisner sat there and literally cleaned his fingernails almost the whole time. If he wasn't doing that all he could say is "no comment" how spineless could that 300 pound sack of ###### be. John + Gene = rapist/rapist supporter. You decide which is worst because I have yet to find a difference. You can bet I'm going to try to be there on the 27th! My hope is that the judge will reject the plea bargain and put that scum where he belongs - IN PRISON!! Anyway, you guys, the victim's brother and I would appreciate your help SO MUCH! Thank you!
