I got a wonderful Valentine's gift today. Mother Nature gave it to me. :) I was going to take my daughter to Wal-Mart to meet up with some friends and noticed as soon as I walked outside that it was snowing lightly. The thing is, the sun was also shining. That's cool in itself, but as we were driving, we passed a snow-covered pasture with 5 beautiful horses standing in it, the snow lightly falling while the sun shone on each and every flake as it fell, coming to light on a blanket of white shining so brightly you had to squint. It was absolutely breathtaking! I wished so badly that I had my camera with me, but who takes their camera with them on their way to Wal-Mart? Hmmm. I think I should start doing that.

Do you watch Men in Trees? If not, you absolutely should. It's the best show on TV, without a doubt! Not to mention one of the cast members is the sexiest man on TV! Oh yes, James Tupper is the hottest hottie on network television! It's not just the way he looks, though - it's his voice, too. Mama mia!! I have to fan myself while watching the show every week! I found out recently, though, that he and Anne Heche have started a real-life affair, and have both left their spouses. That's totally not cool, especially considering Anne and her husband have a young daughter together. Haven't they learned yet that those kind of relationships never last?

Did you read about the tornado in and around New Orleans? Geez, how much are those people supposed to have to endure?! It's just unfathomable how much they've had to go through. And of course the government hasn't made it any easier for them. The whole thing just stinks. I feel sooo sorry for everyone down there. Sure makes you appreciate your own life and what you have, doesn't it? Like my Grandma always used to say, "There but for the grace of God go I".
