Today, my friends, is my hubby's birthday. Even though he's in Kansas City and won't be seeing this, I'd still like to wish him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Not much going on around here lately. Everything's just .... mediocre. The weather's okay, my days are okay, my moods are okay .... nothing really notable. Except my nights - they're long. I haven't been sleeping for crap lately. I really think I must be a vampire.

I was very sad to read that Peter Boyle had died. I cried, in fact. I'm not sure why. I just always really, really liked him. He was an amazing comedic actor, and a fine dramatic actor as well. I felt like someone I knew personally had passed away. He certainly was a fighter and a survivor, wasn't he! Plus he was friends with John Lennon. I read that John was best man at his wedding. When I saw that I knew why I liked him so much. Some things you can just sense about people. Rest in Peace, Peter.
