We Could Try a Bucket of Water and See What Happens

Well, well, well, much to my complete joy and utter surprise, the O.J. Simpson book and television interview were canceled!!! This is even more exciting than when Dorothy (what is it with me and The Wizard of Oz???) threw the water on the wicked witch and she melted! (Oh how I wish O.J. would melt away!) Anyway, at last human decency won out over evil!! I take great solace in knowing that "man" will burn in hell for all eternity.

Next, I have a couple of questions:

What's up with Katie's hair, and is he standing on a box or wearing lifts? Seriously, though, is he trying to ugly her down? Have you looked at pictures of her lately? Totally NOT like she used to be! I mean, she's a beautiful girl, ya' know? But lately, she just looks ... drab. Is that a requirement of Scientology? That your women stay home with the kids and look as plain as possible? Every time I see a pic of her she looks half tired/half blood-sucked by what I can only assume are alien cohorts of Tommy Boy's. Plus Katie, hon, stop stooping to look shorter. It doesn't work and you're gonna end up with a big ol' bump on your back! And what's up with the dark glasses he wears EVERYWHERE? Is he trying to re-live Risky Business or something? Tom, let go of the past. It's not healthy. Or maybe all of his upper echelon shininess in the "Church" has given him sensitive eyes. Who knows. But more importantly, WHO CARES!? (Hey, here's a fun fact about Tommy via TomCruiseIsNuts.com - when Tom and Katie wed, it became fact that "each of his wives have been eleven years younger than the last. [Mimi Rogers, b. 1956; Nicole Kidman, b. 1967; Katie Holmes, b. 1978"]. I'm wondering if that's some super secret magic thing with upper-level Scientologists designed to secure him an Oscar someday. LOL! As if!! Or maybe it's a diabolical experiment in attaining everlasting youth. Geez, all he has to do is look in the mirror to know THAT ain't workin'!! ANYway, this little tidbit should be included in all future productions of Trivial Pursuit, don'tcha think?)

Moving right along - you know how things always seem to happen in threes? Do you believe in that? I do! Tragically, it has proven itself true once again in Denver, with a third deadly crash involving pedestrians in the last 10 days in the metro area. SO sad, and pretty scary. If I lived in Denver, I don't think I'd be walking around at night for a while. It was a week ago Friday when a lovely, well-known and much loved family of 4 was taking an evening walk together when they were struck down by a hit-and-run driver. The husband survived with nerve damage to his arm, but his beloved wife and 2 young children (6 and 3) were all killed. Beyond heartbreaking! And then last Friday around 2:30 in the afternoon, 2 teenaged boys were walking home from school when a Jeep veered onto the sidewalk and hit them, killing them both. And now the poor woman killed this morning. It leaves me hurting and shaking my head.

I don't want to leave you with such a depressing thought, so let me end this with a wonderful feel-good story. NEVER underestimate the power of the connection between a person and his dog!

Have a great Tuesday!

Thoughts from others

I think she was standing in a hole. I saw the full length picture and you can see his feet, no box. A hole. That is what she is in now. LOL!

I am so glad that Fox caved and denied his interview. ANd I am glad they are not publishing his book. The jerk did it! He is so full of himself!
