So guess what I found? I found my dream piece of property!! Well, okay, ONE of my dream properties (yes, I dream a lot LOL). Here it is!!! And all I need is a mere $268,950.00!! "Is that all", you ask? LOL! Yeah, so if any of you have any pull with the Colorado Lottery Commission, it would be way cool if you could put in a good word for me. Ohhh man, wouldn't it be sweeeet?! Can't you just see part of that ginormous horse barn being turned into a dog barn?? Yes, me too!! I LOVE old farm houses!! It even has a windmill! Ah well ... a girl can dream.

Hmmm ... let's see, what else has been goin' on .... oh yeah! We had a HUGE storm the other day! Raindrops so big they were more like rain blobs, along with hail and a cool tornado warning with sirens and everything! Of course, the only reason I say it was a cool tornado warning is because I looked outside and didn't see what I would call tornado clouds moving toward my house, so I didn't get too nervous. My daughter and her best friend were at Wal-Mart at the time, so they were herded, along with everyone else, to the dreaded Lay-Away department to await the all-clear. I guess that department is the inner-most room in the store, so there ya' go. I called her cell and told her not to freak, cuz she usually does when there's a tornado warning. She and my sister both do (Hi Deb! ). ANYway, all's well that ended well. We had flooded streets and lots of leaves stripped and branches blown down, but that's about it.

Hey, did any of you happen to watch To Catch a Predator the other night on Dateline? That's enough to scare the hell out of a parent!! I've seen those shows before, and the scariest thing is that there never seems to be a problem with finding those slimeballs! They're EVERYWHERE, trolling and hunting for OUR CHILDREN! And guess what? Even though some of them had seen those shows themselves and had a feeling it might be a set-up, they STILL went! Cuz they're PERVERTS and can't help themselves! Sick bastards! They need to put them all together in a prison on an island somewhere and let them prey upon each other! My daughter has asked me before if I think she could ever get a computer in her room, and my immediate answer is always NO! Not because I don't trust her, but because I know what's lurking out there, and I know how easy it is for a naive kid to be taken in by those pervs! I keep a close eye on what she does online, and with whom she speaks. Even her own friends sometimes have screen names on MSN which I find shocking, and I'll tell her so. I do watch to make sure she's not identifying herself in any inappropriate manner, and I made her take down her MySpace.com page waaaay before MySpace was in the news! She didn't put up a fuss, either. As soon as I explained to her why it wasn't a good idea, she agreed with me and deleted it right away. She's such a good kid.

I got bored last night and downloaded some cool ringtones for my cell. I love doing stuff like that. I'm a sucker for electronic gadgets. I'm just giddy when I'm messin' around with 'em! LOL My phone now rings singing "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. It does wonders for my ego. Speaking of electronics (kind of a rough segue, but oh well), I modified this design today by incorporating my own drawing into it. Do you like it? It's been a long time since I've used my own drawings in a design, so thought I'd give it a go.

Okay, I guess that's it for now. I think I better try ("try" being the operative word) to get some sleep, seeing as it's after 3:00 a.m. Hope ya'll have a fabuloso Friday!!
