Horses and Storms
This is a very sad story. Sad for the horses, and upsetting for the owners, but .... in all honesty, the horses were not being taken care of properly. I know the owner and my sister used to work for him a loooong time ago, and the one thing that's always held true for him is his undying love for his horses. I have no idea what happened. I think they just ran out of money to take care of them properly. They've had a lot of trouble lately, and I think it has left them broke. It's just sad all the way around. The kicker is that he is an attorney here in Sterling, and has been for eons. He says he thinks this whole thing is political and a personal attack, which isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility, as he is a very brash and say-whatever-is-on-my-mind kinda' guy, and has made enemies over the years.
Well, the weather guy is calling for severe storms for our part of the state today. Hail, high winds and even tornados are possible. YIKES! It figures - Hubby just finished up with the planting of the garden yesterday. Hmph!
Well, I've got house cleaning to do. Oh what fun! *sarcastic grin* What have you got planned today? :)

I do hope that the storms don't hit too close to home. It'd be such a bummer if all Tony's planting was ruined.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys.:)
