I am very happy and excited to announce the birth of Miss Lily's beautiful new sisters and brother! They were born on April 23rd, making Lily exactly one year and 3 days older. :) Oh my gosh, they are SO CUTE!! Here, have a look! ;)

The only brother in the litter! (Oh boy, does he ever have his work cut out for him! lol) He, too, is just gorgeous with that white collar! He is a little Black Tri, also.

Well, there you have it - Lily's 3 little sisters and 1 lone brother. And yes, they are full siblings. I am anxious to see how they change as they grow! Now, speaking of dogs - there was also good news here in Colorado with regard to a vicious and heinous animal cruelty crime which happened in Denver last year. The sick perpetrator of said crime was finally brought to justice the other day. I don't know if it is precedent-setting or not, but the judge handed down the stiffest penalty allowed by law - 10 1/2 years! RIGHT ON!!! It's about time sickos who torture animals do hard time! The usual slap on the wrist and "don't ever do that again" crap is just that - CRAP! So, HOORAY for the judge in this case who realized the creep needed to be put away for a loooong time! If you read the news story which I have linked to, you'll see a picture of the only surviving dog and how she looks today. :) What a fighter she is!
