Is it an Anniversary? A Birthday? I Know! It's a .....
Blogiversary!! That's right, boys and girls, it's been TWO WHOLE YEARS since I began blogging! I can't believe it. I have no idea where time goes anymore. If you find out, will you let me know? ;)
Now, under the "It Can Only Happen To Me" heading, let me tell you a little story about my new camera - or should I say my ABSENT new camera! Everything arrived yesterday - all the accessories, the tripod, even the box with the camera in it, except there was no camera! Oh, but the bubble wrap the camera was IN was there, but the camera had magically disappeared! Or maybe NOT so magically; I have a feeling some sticky fingers got a hold of it. Anyway, I called the company immediately and they assured me they believed my story. LOL Well they better!!! And they will be sending me a new one right away, he said. Should be there in a couple of days, he said. Yeah, well ... we'll see. *rolling eyes* Something like that could only happen to me! LOL
The flu has held on pretty tight, seemingly not wanting to let go. I thought it was finally all gone last night, but ohhh no, it had to rear its ugly head again tonight; again and again and again and again. *groan* Keep your fingers crossed that this box of Imodium AD is the last one I'll have to buy!
So, I heard on the News a few days ago that a Nun jailed for taking part in some demonstration is in the same one as Martha Stewart, and is reported to have written to her lawyer and told him that she (Martha) is being treated with kid gloves, and everyone fights to be able to sit at the dining table with her. *GAG* You know, there's just something totally wrong with the world when Martha Stewart gets better treatment than a Nun!!
My son David turned 21 on Monday. It was traumatic. LOL He said, "But Mom, you've been through this once already". I told him that didn't matter one iota - each time is like the first time, and it hurts when that last little thread is cut. *sigh* I can still remember the morning he was born as if it were yesterday. But, it wasn't, and he is now a man - legally and everything. LOL And Monday night, instead of nursing him through the croup, chicken pox or the flu, I nursed him through waaaaay too much fun! LOL! It is just too funny to watch someone who's drunk try to pretend they're not. LOL It didn't last long. LOL
Now, I PROMISE as soon as my camera arrives, I will begin taking pictures of everything I can! LOL Especially Brayden!!!! :) And my puppies, of course. ;) Until then, have a SUPER weekend everyone!!! :)))

How disappointing to have everything but the camera and fortunate that they believed you. I hope you shake that tenacious flu bug soon and stay healthy, Leigh. There's too much fun to be had this time of year to be sick, especially with that sweet little guy in your life.

Happy Blogiversary. Between reading about that and your son's birthday, well life does happen fast doesn't it?

Well, hopefully the camera will show up soon and the flu will disappear!
I know what you mean about cutting those last threads, and those are the threads that hurt the most to cut. "But I don't wanna cut them, oh, c'mon, do I really have to?" Snip! and if you don't they are usually ripped and that hurts worse.
Glad his fun was safe!
Looking forward to the pics!
