Snow, Dogs and Football!

Hey Everyone :)

So? How was your Thanksgiving? Ours was WONderful! Good food, good family, GREAT laughs! This year we have the two new babies in our family, and believe me, they bring such joy!! :)

The only bad thing that put a damper on the holiday weekend was me coming down with the nasty flu on Friday. YUCK!!! I have no idea what's going on - I hadn't had the stomach flu for years and years and years, and now suddenly I have it 3 times in a year and a half??? What's up?! ANYway, it hit hard Friday night and I haven't felt like too much until today. I don't think I've ever had the chills like I did this go 'round; they were unbelievable! Left me feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. A very big truck! But anyway, I'm feeling lots better today, even though my tummy's still not sure about this food thing, but it could've been a lot worse - it could've hit on Thanksgiving Day!

It is soooo cold out today! And SNOWY! It started snowing last night and hasn't quit since. It's not supposed to subside until midnight or so. This is the most snow we've had in a long time! It's pretty neat, actually. The dogs love it! ;) Wanna see?

The only bad thing about these pictures is that you can't see the snow coming down! It's actually snowing pretty hard! I don't know why it didn't pick that up, darn it, anyway.

Here are 3 of our dogs romping and rolicking and having a great time! :) That's Miss Lily on the left, our black Lab Cheyenne, and the little blonde butt you see behind Cheyenne is one of our Cockers, Sage. lol The one below is Miss Lily, of course. :)

puppies having fun!

Miss Lily

This is the first time Lily and Cheyenne have played in the snow. :) Then there's Mr. Riley ... lol ... he's so little that he can barely find a place to potty. LOL He hikes his leg and his little .... well, you know .... is still in the snow! LOL!! He's so cute!!

So that's what's been going on around here. Oh yeah, for all you Bronco fans out there, won't it be fun to watch those California pansies play ball in the snow tonight?! LOLOL!! If any of you are Raiders fans, I apologize (sort of). LOL! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

*heehee* Bye for now! *waving* {{{{Big Hugs}}}}

Thoughts from others

From a California "pansy" I would die living near all that snow. The dogs look like they are having a blast though. Our temp is 60 degrees right now and that's too cold for me. So sorry to hear you've had the flu. Hope you feel better soon.

Leigh - just reading this makes me shiver! I am going to have to warm up by the fire..lol...Glad to hear you had a good time with the babies, hoep you are feeling better. ((hugs))

OH WOW...OH WOW!!!!! :)))) These pics are sooooo very, very COOL!! ;) Thanks a million for sharing, Leigh! Love 'em. :)))) I've sent some pics of a different nature to callie. check 'em out! I'm sure you'll love 'em. ;)
((((huggles)))))

Hope you are feeling better, my Sweet Friend. Love you, Leigh!

HEY!! Hows come you can take pictures of snow and the dogs but you cant take any BABY pictures? HMMMMMM

Lily has really gotten BIG hasn;t she? My little blonde butt named Sadie, is going through her teens right now, and refuses to listen to mommy, but she is sooooooo well behaved.

For once it's not me who has the snow pictures to share! ;) That looks awfully familiar though, Leigh. We should be knee-deep in it too but we've been lucky with one chinook after another and nary a flake is around.

I think you've been hit hard because of all the incredible stress and ups and downs you've endured. Your poor body is just pooped and doesn't have the fight in it that it did. Hopefully this is the last bout you'll have for a looooong time.

Your 4-legged babes are so sweet. What a bunch of face-lickers you have there.

Take good care.

How ya feelin' today, Leigh?

The flu and snow all in one weekend? Doesn't sound like my idea of a fun holiday...but at least you are recovering.

My TG was great and the turkey got rave reviews...snowed a tad bit here in MN, but was gone the next day.

I fly into Denver on Saturday and drive to Casper, WY...hope the weather up your way cooperates for me...

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Gosh those pictures made me cold! I hope you are feeling better now.

I bet having the new babies around was just a blast. There is nothing like a new baby in the family!
