Some of the things rolling through my brain today:
I absolutely LOVE the OfficeMax television commercial where the guy is delivering office supplies to the tune of "Rubber Band Man". Totally cool commercial!
My sister is moving tomorrow and I've been helping her pack. I haven't done that in years, and it has served to remind me that I've been correct all this time -- moving DOES suck!
Regardless of what is happening in my life, Mr. Riley can always make me smile and feel happy. :)
Speaking of Riley -- he's been trying desperately to impregnate our Cocker Spaniel, Sage. (he's a real horn dog, lemme tell ya'! LOL) We're hoping he has succeeded, but are left with one major problem if he has: what do you call a Cocker/Yorkie cross?? A Yorkie Cock? No no no, that doesn't sound right all. *snicker giggle* So what DO you call it?
We had a thundershower roll through here the other night. It was heavenly. It felt as though I, like the flowers of Spring, had finally broken through the cold, hard ground, and breathed in the freshness of newly-washed air. Ahhhhhhhh .....
On the homefront, I'll just say that the roller coaster is still rolling, and the hills are getting mighty steep. I don't want to bemoan what is going on with my Mother every single time I post an entry, so that will have to suffice. But something I've always heard has proven itself to be extremely true -- as much as one can prepare for the inevitable, one is never truly ready.
I need to go help my Sis pack some more. I hope you are all happy and feeling content. {{{{{BIG HUGS}}}}} all around! *Mmmmwah*

I love it when poetry comes out in your writing, Leigh. :) It felt as though I, like the flowers of spring, had finally broken through the cold, hard ground, and breathed in the freshness of newly-washed air.

(Now I'm thinking about corn dogs and the last time I had one....must've been 2 years ago at the Calgary Stampede)
It's so nice to see you back here, Leigh. You pop into my thoughts at the oddest times.

They call a Chihuahua & a Yorkie a CHORKY, A Golden Retriever & a poodle a GOLDENDOODLE... so why not CORKY/CORKIE for the Cocker & Yorkie? :)
(laughing at some of thes "mixes")
