Good Monday to everyone, and Happy Presidents Day. :) I have news about my grandbaby, although it's not the news we were supposed to have, darnit. lol The doctor was apparently wrong last week in his assessment of how far along she is and when the baby would be due; the ultrasound showed the baby is 13 weeks, 2 days old, and is due on ... *drum roll please* ....

My daughter's birthday! Yep, my precious grandbaby is due on August 22nd, which will be Callie's 12th birthday! Wouldn't it be cool if it was actually born on that day? Not many babies are born on their due date, but we can keep our fingers crossed, can't we. LOL They said they won't be able to tell the sex of the baby for a while yet, so we still have to wait on that, but that's okay, because my son brought over ultrasound pictures on his way back to work, and that baby looks PERFECT!! Ohhhh, so sweet!!! Perfect little hands, and the most precious little profile. *giddy giggles* And legs and arms, and ... and .... everything! LOL! He said it was having hiccups during the ultrasound, and it was so cute to watch. *huge smile* When I got to the picture of the baby's perfect little hand, I looked up at my son and he had tears in his eyes. Oh man .... I'll tell ya', it's ultra cool knowing my husband and I are soon going to be starting a new chapter in our lives as grandparents, but I think it's even a tad bit more cool watching our son as he enters his new life as a father. Wow. It is truly amazing. :)
