The excitement in Blogland is absolutely palpable! Those of us participating in Blogathon 2003 are sitting on pins and needles, anxious as all get out for 6:00a.m.(PST) Saturday to arrive!! We're taking care of last-minute details and preparing for one heck of an experience! 24 hours of nonstop blogging! w00t!

At this posting, 545 participants and 2,017 sponsors have raised a whopping $56,709.94! And that's what is paramount in this entire endeavor -- the money we raise for those who are not as blessed as we are. After all, that's the whole reason we're doing this! It feels like fun and games (which, in fact, it is *grin*), but it's also serious business, folks! We're trying to make a real difference in the lives of human beings and animals alike. You still have time to help us! If you haven't sponsored anyone yet, I humbly urge you to do so! You have until 6:00 a.m.(PST) Monday to make your pledge!
