The current category is: Blogathon 2003
Well, thanks to valleyfrog, Dawn (email me, Dawn, with your url, please? I'm embarrassed to say I don't know which Dawn you are. Sorry! Thanks, Dawn!) and Subwolf, my pledge total for the Blogathon has risen from $70 to $105! Thank You -- to all of you who have pledged!! (I have a list over there in the sidebar of everyone who has sponsored me!) Hopefully I can reach that $500 goal by the event's conclusion on the 27th!
Now, speaking of Subwolf, I was at his site today and found a link to one of the most interesting sites I've run across in a long, long time. It is a blog maintained by a homeless guy. That's right, a homeless guy. It truly is one of the most interesting, informative, intelligent, well thought-out blogs I've ever run across. Go give it a read! And don't forget to read his FAQ section!
i found this homelessguy site a while back. it is amazing and informative. there's an "unemployed Theo" too...;)

wow interesting. I didn't know that the library had free Internet assess for the public to use.
Geez, I better get my butt in there soon and see what has changed since the last time I was there. *lol*

I've been reading "homeless guy" for awhile myself. It's quite an interesting fact to see or read about so many people out there in "la la land" who will literally do without food and other vital necessities, just so they can have a phone/internet service. Some even let their children go without so they can be online. Sad but true. :(
When you read "HG" and see what he has acquired from the ground up... and without all the fancy, modern things in life... it really makes you stop and take a look in the mirror. He isn't able to blog everyday, can you imagine the horror of not being able to blog some little something every day? Or maybe not being able to jump online and chat whenever you want to, cause the Library doesn't stay open 24/7. Kind of makes you wake up and smell the coffee doesn't it?
Great site Homeless Guy has, and very informative about issues and things that most of us have at some time or another... taken for granted.
