The Heat Made Him Do It

Ohhh man ... lol ... my husband came by the house on his way out of town from work to water the garden -- his garden. A couple of years ago he planted asparagus in the kids' old sandbox. It's a huge tractor tire with sand in the middle (just like the one I had when I was little *grin*). After he finished up in the garden, he brought the water hose over to the tire and placed it in the middle. I was out on the deck and we were chatting. Keep in mind, now, that it's 105 outside. (that kind of heat tends to fry ones brain) After a few minutes, he kissed me goodbye and left.

fast forward about an hour >>>>

My daughter and I are leaving for the hairdresser's (she had her hair cut and it looks gorgeous, btw *wink*). She walked out the door first. Suddenly I heard her exclaim "OH MY GOSH!!". I walked outside where she was standing there pointing, with her jaw to the ground and saucers for eyes. lol Hubby had forgotten to turn the water off! The huge tractor tire was completely full and overflowing all over the yard. LOL I looked at my daughter and said, "Well, you've always wanted a swimming pool. Hop in!!" lol Needless to say, I shut the hose off and we went on our merry way.

It's still 3/4 full. lol
I can hardly wait until he gets home tonight!
